Social Media Intern

Tonnessen Studio is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Intern to work with clients in luxury interiors and design.
The Social Media Intern’s role entails supporting organic growth across social media channels, digital content creation, compiling social media reports, copywriting, manual publishing, insights tracking, and presentation building. The role reports to the Creative Director & Founder, Christie Tonnessen, and Social Media Account Manager. Armed with a passion for design, and the ability to stay organized and multi-task, the right candidate will thrive in our creative and entrepreneurial environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing community management strategy on behalf of clients, implementing engagement best practices, public-facing comment responses, keyword identification for comment filters, and any other responses from the community

Providing administrative support for our client portfolio, saving and organizing client assets, and keeping track of weekly tasks

Pulling insights for monthly client reports

Writing copy for social media channels

Occasional content creation utilizing Adobe or Canva

Client-facing presentation building

Manual feed and Story publishing
Requirements:​

NY or CT based

This role is a hybrid of remote and in person

Ability to balance left-brain / right-brain thinking, both a natural creative and analytic thinker

A discerning eye and strong aesthetic sensibility

Basic knowledge of social media platforms at large, but particularly Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest

Interpersonal and communication skills

An impeccable attention to detail

Passion for and knowledge of interior design and luxury

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Social copywriting experience is a plus

Proficiency in Adobe and/or Canva preferred

Experience using tools like Slack, Opal and Monday.com preferred
